About the Post
Named for a general, built by neighbors
Our Post carries the name of General Anthony Wayne, the Revolutionary War commander for whom Wayne Township is also named. Local veterans chartered Post 174 in 1932, and it has been a gathering place for those who served ever since.
Today that looks like a pig roast for veterans' causes, a Christmas tree lot run by our Sons, a Riders run for Toys for Tots, and a member who shows up when a fellow veteran needs a hand.
We remember those who have not come home, and the families still waiting for them.
